The companies of the eCap Group are experts and pioneers in the electrical conversion and equipping of the mobility, industrial and marine sectors with alternative, future-oriented and emission-free electric drives.
eCap Mobility develops electrified prototypes, small series and concepts for industry and converts commercial vehicles, trucks, buses and systems to electric and/or fuel cell drives. With the distribution of fuel cells from Re-Fire Technology, electricity storage systems from in-house production and services in the form of feasibility studies and concept development for electrification, eCap Mobility offers a variety of solutions for the decarbonization of drives.

Our currently 70 employees (as of January 2022) at our headquarters in Winsen (Luhe) near the city of Hamburg are a committed mix of experienced electrical specialists, vehicle manufacturers, engineers and programmers – and the soul of our company.
Since the company was founded, we have electrified various types of commercial vehicles, systems and machines. Each project is individual, stimulates with new challenges and rewards us with know-how and know-why. Our steadily growing wealth of experience makes us the ideal partner of the industry for the development of prototypes and concepts with emission-free electric drives.
Our way of work
We design the optimal drive train on the basis of strain measurements on the driveshafts, CAN bus and geo-data analyses, 3D scans of the electrical components and the creation of electrical circuit diagrams in accordance with standards.

State-of-the-art technologies
For the electrification of your projects, we select the optimal components from a large selection of suppliers, regardless of the manufacturer. We are state-of-the-art when choosing the most effective fuel cell system, the most powerful energy storage device or the optimal hydrogen tank solution. Benefit from our extensive network of experienced partners in the international supplier industry for climate-friendly alternative drives.
Our capacity
Our two production halls offer a production area of 1,500 m² with 600 m² of office space. Locksmith's shop, electrical production, assembly workshop and paint shop are connected to ten lifting platforms and open space for large projects. A further expansion of the capacities is in preparation.
